Close your eyes...

Imagine the air is pure and the oceans are clean and the Earth is healed and beautiful. “Imagine a time when everyone feels that they are a part of each other and the Earth, and no one hurts anyone else anymore.”*  

Now- time to play! Put on your Dreaming glasses and, from your invisible spacecraft, watch the future unfold as you wish to see it! 

I dream the future! What do I see?

Pick one area you wish to see into and imagine away!! Your dreams can help create the future you wish to see! Your dream in one area may lead into a dream in another. Follow your visions! Then share them with the friend next to you. Now write them down! Next … connect everyone’s visions in your group into a BIG PICTURE of life on Earth: 2050.

Next, if you are doing this in a group, have your teacher or leader exchange emails of each group’s visions with another group doing the same exercise somewhere else in your town, State or in the world. Read and imagine the other group’s vision, then see how the two can meld together. Now enjoy the new world you have just created!

Do drawings or paintings to show the world of 2050! Create songs and poetry that shows this new, happy Earth!  The more you concentrate on what you want, the faster it will come to be!

• Food Production: How is food produced so that all people have enough to eat and eat well and so the Earth is not harmed in the process?
• Family Life and housing: How do people live together in 2050?
• Recreation and entertainment: How do people play in 2050? What kind of areas and parks are set up for people to use? Where are they located?
• Money: Does money still exist? If not, how are goods and services exchanged?
• Health: How is good health maintained? If you imagine healing centers, what do they look like? Who does the healing? What kind of healing is performed in 2050?
• Schools: What do schools look like now? Who is teaching? What do students do in their classes?
• Caring for the Elderly: How are old people cared for in 2050?
• Caring for the Earth: What are people doing in 2050 to protect the Earth?   
• Government: How is the Earth governed in 2050? Are there still countries? … regional governments?
• Celebrations: Are celebrations the same in 2050 as fifty years ago? What extra special days there now to celebrate?  For instance … the day everyone decided that there would finally be peace on Earth.
• Relationships: How do people get along with each other in 2050?
